Yellowstone's sixth season is set to premiere in 2022, but the future of the series and the franchise has come into question after reports that Costner is leaving the show.

Those comments were confirmed by Costner himself, who has spent the past three months talking about his desire to return to Yellowstone in some form and on his own terms
