In Season 5, significant time changes have been made to explain the ages of the younger cast members and also bring the characters' ages in line with the actors.
In an interview with Variety , executive producer Sean Levy said the team would "use every tool available to us" to make the actors look younger.
Speaking to Deadline, Levy confirmed that was not the case, saying: "No, I was surprised that I said a sentence on a topic that went viral."
